What do I need to hear podcasts?

You can listen to previous ONDCP podcasts using your computer's audio player*. To be informed when a new Podcast is available subscribe to the Podcasts RSS Feed. You can subscribe using either podcast subscription software or an RSS Reader.

Podcast subscription software manages your podcast subscriptions. After you download free podcast subscription software, you can listen to podcast audio from your computer. Below are some free options:

You can also use an RSS reader, or news aggregator, to subscribe to the feed and listen to the ONDCP podcasts on your computer. Below are some free options:

*Note: Your computer must be able to play MP3 audio files and have a sound card. If you want to make your podcasts portable, you will need to transfer them from your computer to a portable media device.

How do I subscribe to a podcast?

To subscribe to the ONDCP podcast:

  2. Paste the link into your podcasting software or RSS Reader.

You will automatically receive this podcast each time it's published.

I subscribed to a podcast. Why don't I hear anything?
  • Confirm that you have audio player software downloaded on your computer.

  • Check that the correct audio file was downloaded to your computer. You may need to modify the update settings in your podcasting software to ensure that this process occurs automatically.

  • Check the update times in the description and make sure that a new edition has been posted.
